Children’s Ministry

Children are important in God’s sight and the Children’s Ministry should not be an alternative for engaging them in order the avoid disturbance during the time of adult worship service.  Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven”. (See Matthew 19:14.)

Remember when God spoke to little Samuel when the Word of the Lord was rare in those days.  God revealed to little Samuel what He is going to do to Israel.  Samuel had been established prophet of the Lord. (See 1 Samuel 3:2, 11 & 20.)

Another instance – Jesus did the miracle with the five loaves and two small fish to feed 5000 men.  A boy had that five loaves and two fish and he gave it to Jesus and then it became a blessing to many. (See John 6:9-11.)

We need to understand that it is the Lord who has blessed our children with lot of talents.  God wants to use our children as a blessing to many people as He used Samuel and the little boy in the New Testament. In Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
